Hispanic Heritage Month Breakfast Celebration honors National Hispanic Heritage Month, observed from September 15-October 15, celebrating the contributions made by Hispanic Americans in the U.S. The observation started in 1968 under President Lyndon Johnson & expanded by President Ronald Reagan to its current recognized 30-day period. In August 1988, this celebratory month was enacted into law on the approval level of Public Law 100-402.

Keynote speaker is Dr. Katherine Rodela, assistant professor in Educational Leadership at Washington State University (WSU). Portion of the proceeds will be donated towards local scholarships for our local youth students in the SW WA area in partnership with Clark County Latino Youth Conference (CCLYC), a local non-profit created to encourage & motivate local Latino youth to pursue higher education or technical careers. For more information on CCLYC, please contact via email at clark.co.latinoyouthconference@gmail.com.
