Annual Invasive Species Survey

Saturday, February 18th from 1:30 – 4:30pm Be a scientist for a day at our annual Invasive Species Survey! Groups of volunteers will go throughout our 100-acre natural area looking for three different invasive plant species and collecting data. No experience necessary! You’ll be trained in basic survey and sampling techniques prior to going out in the field. Training begins promptly at 1:30pm. Kids must be age 7 or older to participate. Kids under age 16 must have a parent/guardian with them to volunteer. Kids ages 16-17 must have a parent/guardian sign them in at the beginning of the event. While registration is not required, participation is limited to the first 30 participants. Those who register prior to the event are given priority.
