BIA's Membership Dinner Meeting: Government Regulation & Impacts on Small Business

Mark Harmsworth, Research Fellow for Washington Policy Center (WPC) and Former Washington State House Representative, is the BIA’s featured speaker for the February Dinner Meeting.

Mark recently took over WPC’s Center for Small Business, which analyzes government regulations and the impact those regulations have on small business. Mark will speak about proposed legislation that will negatively impact small businesses, while also weaving information in on how recently passed legislation (examples include Minimum Wage, Paid Family Medical Leave, and Sick Leave) has economically impacted small business’ overall.
