June 24th will be a special day at Esther Short Park, with many families already visiting the park to participate in The Columbian's River Walk. Come join us to kick off Clark County's Born Learning campaign with fun activities, as well as programs, resources and services your family can use. This free public event is designed to inform and entertain families with children aged zero to five. Born Learning is a year-long campaign to show parents, caregivers and child care providers how to turn everyday moments into fun learning opportunities for children from birth through age five. For more information, contact Bridget McLeman or Lisa Lewis at Children's Home Society of Washington 695-1325, or see www.bornlearning.org.
