Chancellor Seminar Series

The Chancellor's Seminar Series will examine how neuroscience is improving human lives with guest speakers Christine Portfors, associate professor in the College of Arts and sciences at WSU Vancouver and John Dempster, M.D., Legacy Medical Group Neurology. Portfors works to understand how complex sounds are processed by the auditory system and to determine how age-related hearing loss impacts this processing. Her long-term goal is to help those who experience hearing loss. Dr. Dempster specializes in high-quality care for epilepsy patients in this region. He will share his expertise in the treatment and understanding of epilepsy.
