Cougs in the Community Beach Clean Up

The Washington State University Vancouver Alumni Advisory Board is sponsoring its fall Cougs in the Community project. All alumni from any Washington State University campus who live in the region are invited to participate along with their families, friends and current students. Volunteer efforts will support Vancouver-Clark Parks and Recreation. Join fellow Cougars from 9 a.m. – noon October 2 at Frenchman's Bar and Vancouver Lake Park to help clean up the beaches and planter boxes. Gloves, garbage bags and water will be provided. Enjoy Blind Onion pizza for lunch at noon. Cougs in the Community is a set of service projects that offer 15,000 WSU alumni between Olympia, Wash. and Eugene, Ore. an opportunity to give back to their communities and stay connected to their alma mater.
