In this workshop, we'll offer you tips to make sure you are getting the most out of your tax planning this year including:

In this workshop, we'll offer you tips to make sure you are getting the most out of your tax planning this year including:
- Accounting for all expenses without attracting auditor's attention (with a little sidebar on cool easy-to-use apps for collecting mileage, receipts, etc.)
- Contracting and income accounting - what is reported and what isn't, contractor responsibilities
- Filing deadlines -- multiple state, federal, what to know, what to pay
- Preparing documents for your tax preparer, business and personal, for April filing
- Common self-employment mistakes -- mileage, health insurance, special business taxes
Kelly Raby is an Enrolled Agent with Block Advisors in Vancouver. With over six years of small business ownership and management experience, Kelly is especially adept at supporting her business clients. Kelly enjoys working with complex tax problems and building lasting relationships with her clients.
Marge Duncanson is a Tax Professional with H&R Block in Vancouver. She considers herself a "puzzle master" when it comes to supporting her clients, finding resources, and supporting them through tax notices and audits. Marge has a varied background in accounting and enjoys working with sole proprietors.
