Fido's Family Funday

Description

A party in the Park for dogs and their people! Fun for the whole family, including many demonstrations; K-9, agility, flyball, and disc. Vendors of all things ''doggy'', Kids on the Block, Powerful Puppetry, ''Be safe and be smart around dogs'' performance, ''doggie/human'' fashion show. Venture through the Fido's Farm where there is reading, costumed characters, and a hay maze. Wander through the ''Arf'' gallery and have your face painted, or get a temporary tattoo. See a caricaturist, and have your photo taken by a professional ''dog'' photographer. Pamper your dog in the Pooch Parlor with a ''dog'' massage, and lessons in nutrition. Visit with the various ''Doggie'' non-profit groups in our community. This is a free event, however there is a registration fee for amateur dog contests; best costume, trick, dancer, singer, tail wag, and smile. (but you receive a ''doggie gift bag''). Enjoy door and raffle prizes.
