Description
In recognition of National Disability Employment Awareness Month, the Clark County Developmental Disabilities Advisory Board and the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce are hosting the fifth annual awards ceremony October 12 to honor Clark County ’s employers and employees.
"Americans with Disabilities: Ready for the Global Workforce" is the official theme for October's National Disability Employment Awareness Month, which is celebrated nationwide.
Awards include Service Recognition, Employee of the Year, Public Employer of the Year, Private Employer of the Year, and for the first time this year, Entrepreneur of the Year.
The event will be held at the Hilton Vancouver Washington in downtown Vancouver. Festivities begin at 4:00 PM. The event is free and the public is invited to attend.
