The Hope of the World IN ALL the sacred Scriptures there is the promise of a world savior who would bring universal peace and prosperity. In the Christian Scriptures, He is the Spirit of Truth. In the Jewish writings, He is the Lord of Hosts. In Islam, it’s the Great Announcement. In the Baha’i writings, this promise is fulfilled in Baha’u’llah. His message is a call for religious unity. It is not an invitation to a new religion, or a new path to immortality. It is the ancient path cleared of the superstitions of men, and cleared of the debris of strife and misunderstanding, so that the sincere seeker may enter in assurance and find the word of God is one word, though the speakers were many.
