First Friday Artwalk April 4 – Come Discover the Art Enthusiast In You! Save the Date! Vancouver's Downtown Association's First Friday Artwalk series continues on Friday, April 4, 2008 5:00-8:00 p.m. Starting at the Hilton Vancouver Washington, 301 W. 6th Street Celebrate visual art north of the Columbia River at this FREE, fun and culturally stimulating evening of great conversation, delicious wine and Hors d'oeuvres, and guided tours of Downtown Vancouver's fine art galleries and public art installations. In true community spirit, several businesses and associations have come together to bring a wider audience to Vancouver's galleries, studios, and public art—and to have a great time doing it! The first Artwalk event, held in November 2007, hosted 400 people and was a huge success. In February, nearly 300 joined us—even in the cold, wet weather. Now that Spring is upon us, join us on April 4 for a stroll through Vancouver's refreshed, vibrant Downtown. Come by after work, stop through before dinner out on the town, and share a great experience with friends and neighbors. Whether you're familiar with all of the area's galleries or you've never set foot inside a single one, you're sure to discover something new and meet interesting, like-minded people. And of course, don't forget that doing what you love is also good for you. Steps to a Healthier Clark County reminds us that "Walking is for All Reasons and All Seasons." Participating in First Friday Artwalk adds healthy steps to your life. This month's reception is hosted by the Hilton Vancouver Washington. Mix and mingle among the fine wine and food and join a walking tour at your leisure. Walking tours will depart every twenty minutes from the Hilton. Parking: Street parking is conveniently located, and a City parking lot in the Vancouver Center garage on the NE corner of 6th and Columbia.
