Free Leadership conference for high school and college students

Description

High school juniors and seniors, and college students are invited to WSU Vancouver's free leadership conference from 9:30 am - 4 p.m. Feb. 7 in the Firstenburg Student Commons. Fun and interactive, students will learn strategies to apply to their personal, academic and future professional lives. The day will begin with keynote speaker Angela Cassel, a retired Air Force chief master sergeant, who will discuss attitude, courage, commitment and energy. Then, local business leaders will lead workshops that will develop new and existing leadership skills. Networking for leaders will round out the day. Lunch will be provided. Students interested in participating must register at vancouver.wsu.edu/osi by noon on Feb. 2.
