Make a lei, wear a lei, give a lei--"May Day is Lei Day" in Hawai`i, so bring the keiki (children) and join us as we perpetuate this Hawaiian cultural tradition with a full day of games and activities for children and adults such as Hawaiian bowling and fishing, Tahitian weaving, making Maori poi balls (for dancing, not eating!), and, of course, lei-making. Children especially will have fun with these activities, and the day-long live Hawaiian/Polynesian music and dancing and the ono (delicious) foods available for purchase will be a treat for all ages. Arts and crafts vendors, too, great for finding that special gift or memento. Only $5.00 admission for the entire day, children aged 10 and under FREE--a great price for a full day of fun and live entertainment Pacific Island-style.
