In addition to the proceeds from the entry fees, the golf club has sponsorships available for each hole and will be obtaining commitments for a banquet and silent auction to follow the tournament. The proceeds from the entry fees, the sponsorships, and the silent auction will be 100% donated equally to the Salvation Army Disaster Relief Fund and to the New Orleans Police Foundation's NOPD Emergency Relief Fund. The New Orleans Police Foundation established the NOPD Emergency Relief Fund immediately after Hurricane Katrina. The relief fund was in response the devastation wreaked upon the NOPD Officers and their families, and will go directly to support those members of the New Orleans Police department. The New Orleans officers showed up to protect their city when no one else came. In their own fishing boats, they rescued hundreds of citizens. This is a chance for us to help those first responders. Entry fees for the tournament will be $125 per person and will be 100% donated. The golf format will be a 4 person scramble with a 12pm shotgun start. The entry fee includes the 18 holes of golf, gps equipped golf carts, dinner and prizes. The field is limited to the first 144 to sign up. Anyone interested in becoming a sponsor or in providing an item for the silent auction are encouraged to contact Troy Couch at Camas Meadows Golf Club. ###
