Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service at WSU Vancouver

Make it a day on at WSU Vancouver's Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service! Join us for workshops, kids activities and a keynote address by Charlene Williams, Senior Director for School Performance at Portland Public Schools. The days events will focus on the theme Educational Justice: Creating Awareness and Challenging Inequities within our School System. Workshop topics include creating allies in the classroom, community organizing for educational justice, restorative justice and increasing access to higher education. This event is free and open to all and is located in the Firstenburg Student Commons. Children under 16 should be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
