TOPIC: North County Economic Development Opportunities by the CREDC
Guest speaker: Max Ault, Interim President of the CREDC mault@credc.org
With lunch from Bleu Door Bakery

Columbia River Economic Development Council’s Interim President Max Ault will discuss the economic growth strategies outlined in the newest Economic Development Plan adopted county-wide last year, with a focus on the implications and opportunities in Battle Ground and North County. Ault will present a deep dive on the three strategic goals and five key sectors CREDC and its private and public partners will focus on over the five-year implementation phase, and how these initiatives map to the broader regional and state-wide efforts.

Bio: Max Ault leads the Columbia River Economic Development Council (CREDC), a public-private partnership of over 150 regional leaders working together to accelerate economic growth and vitality in Clark County. As interim president, Ault serves as CREDC’s primary contact for businesses seeking assistance with startup, growth or retention needs. Ault previously held positions as Operations Manager for the Cascade Forest Conservancy, Special Assistant to the Office of the Chancellor at Washington State University Vancouver and Legislative Assistant to former Washington State Representative Tim Probst. A Clark County native, Ault holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Affairs from Washington State University Vancouver and maintains active involvement on a range or national, regional and local advisory boards—including Greater Portland Inc., WSU Vancouver, WSU Carson College of Business, WSU Vancouver Creative Media and Digital Culture, Cascadia Technical Academy and the Fort Vancouver National Trust.
