NONPROFIT EXCELLENCE AWARDS RECEPTION

Description

The Nonprofit Excellence Awards highlight exemplary work being done by community organizations and business in Southwest Washington.   This year’s winners will be honored at a reception September 7, 2017, 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Warehouse’23.    
 
The 2017 award winners:

Evergreen Habitat for Humanity has been named the Governance Award winner honoring an engaged and highly effective volunteer board of directors.
 
Mill Creek Pub wins the Community Support Award recognizing a business that strengthens our communities through a deep level of support of nonprofits.
 
Northwest Association for Blind Athletes wins the Impact Award for their high standard of work in changing the lives of their clients and inspiring community. 
 
Police Activities League, Vancouver Public Schools and Evergreen Public Schools jointly win the Collaboration Award for a highly successful partnership allowing them to make a much larger difference for children by working together.
 
Teach One To Lead One receives the Volunteer Program Award for their work with and support of volunteers delivering a program with exceptional results.
