Operation Fairy Godmother

Once a year, every girl dreams of the perfect prom dress. Her dreams can come true - no magic required. For many girls, buying a dress for the prom is so far out of reach it would take a fairy godmother to make it happen. That's where you and Operation Fairy Godmother come in. The Vancouver School District Foundation's Operation Fairy Godmother program ensures every girl has a chance to go to her high school prom, even if she can't afford a new dress. Select a tag from the ''Dress of Dreams'', located lower level near Nordstrom or Upper Level near the Food Court, and purchase the requested prom related item. Prom dresses, shoes, and accessories are gladly accepted at the Shopping Concierge Center located lower level near Old Navy from now through Friday, March 14. Thanks to your help, the 2007 Operation Fairy Godmother was a huge success and a total of 2,016 dresses were collected as well as a number of shoes/hand bags, accessories and jewelry.
