PTAC WORKSHOP #2 - WA State Office of Minority & Women's Business Enterprises Certifications Workshop

On Monday, March 17th the Southwest Washington PTAC Government Contracting counselor will host a Double Header focusing on Federal and State certifications at the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce. First, a Federal Certifications workshop will take place at 1pm with a short break before launching into the second workshop: State certifications for minority/women owned business. At both workshops attendees will learn about the differences between federal and state small business certification programs, eligibility requirements, as well as how to apply for, capture, and leverage these certifications for their businesses. Separate registration is required for each workshop at www.vancouverusa.com; there is no cost to attend.

The Federal & State Certification Double Header is designed for small, veteran, woman, minority, or socially and economically disadvantaged businesses. Also, for businesses located in a historically underutilized business (HUB) zone and eligible for set aside preference on federal contracts. Workshop #2: Washington State Office of Minority & Women’s Business Enterprises Certifications Workshop Time: 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm

This certification workshop will focus on the State Minority/Women’s Business Enterprise (M/WBE) certification.
