American Cancer Society Relay For Life Paints the County Purple ***************************************************** Friday, May 26, 2006, we are launching THE POWER OF PURPLE campaign at the Salmon Creek Burgerville from 6:00 am through 8:00 pm! ***************************************************** Come and celebrate Relay for Life with us! We will be taking donations to the American Cancer Society and when you do, you will be given a BIG PURPLE BOW to hang somewhere in the community! We want to PAINT THE TOWN PURPLE up until Relay Day on July 22! ***************************************************** There will be multiple activities going on all day long! Cancer Survivors are invited to attend and register for the survivor activities at the West Vancouver Relay on July 22! ***************************************************** Members of the community can sign up for the POWER OF PURPLE Community Relay Team! This is a team of people from around the community who want to participate in the Relay for Life, but don't have enough people to form a team! What a great way to introduce our community to the Relay for Life. Those people will likely form a team in 2007! ***************************************************** The first 50 people coming to our Kick-Off Celebration beginning at 6:00 am on Friday, May 26, will receive a special ''goodie bag''. We will repeat the distribution of special ''goodie bags'' for the first 50 people who come to the celebration beginning at 5:00 pm! ***************************************************** Teams will have the opportunity to do some fundraising at the Salmon Creek Burgerville. If your team wants to participate, call Marilyn Dryke (360-576-5045) no later than Friday, May 19 to reserve your fundraising space! You can pick up your supply of BIG PURPLE BOWS to use as a fundraising project with your team on May 26! ***************************************************** We want everyone to come t
