Description
Retrospective Rating (Retro) is a safety incentive program offered by Washington State Department of Labor & Industries. In Retro, you can earn a partial refund of your workers’ compensation premiums if you reduce workplace injuries and lower associated claim costs.
Every business is looking for ways to decrease costs and increase productivity. Creating safe work environments and effectively managing workers' compensation claims boosts both productivity and your bottom line. Safe companies pay lower L&I workers compensation insurance premiums and earn refunds from L&I through Retro programs.
GVCC is proud to be able to offer member businesses access to Retro programs for the following categories (as identified by WA State L&I): Manufacturing, and Retail/Professional Services.
