SCORE - Business e-Resource Essential...
Description
In honor of Vancouver’s May Small Business Month, SCORE and the Vancouver Community Library, are pleased to offer a free 90-minute seminar to acquaint entrepreneurs and business owners with the use of some of the most powerful business research tools available today. What’s more, many of the tools you’ll learn about are available from your own computer at home or work.
This will be a “hands on” session – Bring your own laptop or use one of the Library’s desktop computers as you “dig into” data bases like Reference USA, Demographics Now or other small business reference sources. Bring a flash drive to save your work if you opt to use a Library desktop computer. We'll be meeting in the Computer Classroom, Level 1 of the Vancouver Communtiy Library.
Learn how you, working with Library staff, can research specific business information and articles on virtually any subject, industry or demographic. Meet both Library Research staff and SCORE volunteer business mentors to understand how they can help you start your business or take your enterprise to the next level.
