Self Care and Balance Fair for Educators

The Caswell Partners in Realty at Keller Williams and the Domench Team at Academy Mortgage Battle Ground are hosting a Self-Care and Balance Fair for Battle Ground School District employees. It will be held on Saturday, Nov. 17th from 11am-2pm at the Battle Ground Community Center. (See attached postcard for more info.)
 
Both Diane Castle and Jevon Domench know how stressful the life of a teacher can be. Diane is a former Battle Ground teacher and principal, and Jevon comes from a long line of teachers and received his degree in education. They both personally understand the amount of time, energy, and love teachers give every day to care for students, parents, and one another.
 
Stress and burn out are huge realities for educators. Self-care and balance between work and home is always a struggle in a service profession. That is why they created the Heart for Service Program (www.facebook.com/HeartForServices). In addition to the special home buying program, Heart for Service volunteers at many BGSD schools, runs a Teacher of the Month Award, and provides quarterly events.
 
The Self-Care and Balance Fair for Educators is an event exclusively for the educators in the Battle Ground Public School District. Over 20 different Battle Ground health and wellness professionals and featured speakers including:

All participants of the event will receive a swag bag and a bingo card at the door. Participants will visit each booth and receive a stamp in the appropriate block.  Once participants have a “black out” card , they can enter it into the drawing for a one night stay at the new Kalama McMenamins!
