Economic Forecast Breakfast Friday, January 20, 2006 The Columbian's Economic Forecast Breakfast, in partnership with First Independent Bank, is scheduled for Friday, January 20, 2006. This special event, marking its 20th year, begins at 7 a.m. at the Hilton Vancouver Convention Center. John W. Mitchell, Economist, Western Region, U.S. Bancorp, is the keynote speaker. After breakfast and the keynote speaker's address, attendees will have an opportunity to select from two of three panels. There are three separate panels comprised of 11 local experts who will give a brief presentation in their related businesses/industries. (The three panel groups will run simultaneously in two sessions. The first session will be from about 8:30 – 9:10 a.m. and the second session will be from 9:20 – 10:00 am.) Breakout panel presentations are being sponsored by Peterson & Associates. Attendees will receive a special commemorative gift. How to Register: Cost to attend is $40.00 per person or special full-table of ten price of $350.
