Vancouver, WA – The Nonprofit Network of Southwest Washington presents an interactive, constructive workshop in the art of grant writing success. Taught by grant writing expert Michael Wells from Grants Northwest, the workshop, entitled ''Writing Federal Grant Proposals'' will be held November 1 from 9 AM until 4 PM at City University. The workshop focuses on how to write successful federal grant applications and some of the recent changes in the area. Michael will discuss the unique aspects of proposals for federal government agencies and programs and will address tailoring standard grant application practices to meet federal requirements and expectations. Some topics include: Federal grants lifecycle, Research, Evaluating opportunities, RFP's, Building Community Support, and Budgeting. Michael Wells has more than 30 years experience working with nonprofits and has helped clients write more that $50 million of successful grant proposals. Cost of the workshop is $100 ($90 for NPN members) and includes materials and lunch.
